Jesus. Family. Birth. Sunshine.

I am a Birth Boot Camp certified doula with a passion for all things birth.

Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I love praying in the birth space (when asked for).

My husband and I have been married for 11 years and we have 3 kiddos.

I have a background in education and have previously taught elementary and preschool, along with group exercise classes.

Positivity and encouragement are strengths of mine. I always take them with me, bringing Sunshine wherever I go!

Why do I do it?

My passion for birth started 9 years ago when I was pregnant with my son. I knew I wanted a natural birth but I did not choose the right provider to help me in that type of birth. The induction “failed” and lead to a c-section. For my second birth, I chose a provider and a doula that aligned with my vision for a VBAC. This resulted in a successful VBAC in the hospital with midwives! The third time around, I chose to be in a birthing center and have the natural birth that I always dreamed of. With the help of my husband, my doula, and the midwives, this dream finally came true!

All three of my births were unique, making my passion even greater for helping other women have the birth that they desire. I now help other women become educated about birth, know how to pick the provider that aligns with their birth goals, and choose a place and a team that will make that happen!
